Did you know that researchers found out that, by 2025, plastic will likely outweigh all fish in the sea?
In this workshop we will learn how to upcycle fishing nets, gathered from beach cleanups along Iceland's coasts, and turn them into useful grocery bags. This way we can contribute in small steps to the cleaning of our oceans!
Together with Fannie and Rebecca from the environmental NGO Worldwide Friends we will explore the causes and impacts of ocean pollution. We will see how ocean pollution is reflected in Iceland and together discuss the vital steps we can take to combat pollution.
No experience is needed —just bring your creativity and curiosity! We look forward to seeing you!
