At this workshop we will be dyeing clothes with natural dyes and shibori stitching with Studio CH.
-We will have 4-6 different colors to play around with and flowers for eco printing.
-On the side table we'll have snacks, coffee, tea and a whole lot of information.
-It is very important that all the peace's we intend to dye are made from natural materials like cotton and linen.
-Pick out some white or light colored, reasonably sized, clothing pieces that are approximately 400 grams of fabric. (a T-shirt is 150g).
-Wash it on hot setting with a PH-neutral detergent (called scouring)
-Bring them to us on Garðastræti 2 in the week before the workshop.
-We will then soak it in a mordant for 24h and dry it.
-So when we start the workshop you can start coloring right away.
