Forverar framtíðar er skapandi rými til að kanna hinar margvíslegu leiðir sem gjörðir okkar, látbragð, siðir og venjur skapa bylgjur yfir tíma og rúm. Þessar bylgjur geta verið mótsagnakenndar, dularfullar, ólínulegar eða jafnvel utan við mannlegan skilning. Saman munum við gera þessar bylgjur sýnilegar, heyranlegar og áþreifanlegar í gegnum skynjunarverkefni sem tengja saman mannfólk og hinn „yfirmannlega“ heim. Þátttakendur eru beðnir um að klæðast þægilegum fatnaði og koma með hlut sem hefur persónulega þýðingu fyrir þá. Þátttakendur munu hreyfa sig.

Becoming Ancestors is a creative space to explore the many ways our actions, gestures, rituals, and habits create ripples across time and space. These ripples may be contradictory, mysterious, nonlinear, or even beyond human understanding. Together, we will make these ripples visible, audible, and tangible through sensory experiments that connect humans and the more-than-human world. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring an object that is meaningful to them. There will be movement involved.
No participation fee, all welcome.
