Totelly Facilitator Stories — Introducing Diana

Diana Bobocu

Who are you?

I am Diana Bobocu. Originally from Romania, I planned to join a 5-month project in Brazil 8 years ago. However, life took an unexpected turn, and I ended up in Iceland instead. What was meant to be a short stay turned into a long-term adventure, and Iceland has been my home ever since. After all, pivoting it’s my life’s motto, and I have no regrets.

In 2023, I joined Totel.ly after attending one of their events. I offered my User Experience services, which perfectly matched their needs. Being part of and creating a community of like-minded individuals who share my passions in my home away from home has always been my dream. Totel.ly has given me this opportunity, and I want to pay it forward by helping others experience similar connections in their own journeys.

With a background in User Experience, Intercultural Management, and Communication, I am dedicated to developing solutions that enhance people’s lives, bring joy, and create positive social impacts. I focus on understanding people’s needs and strive to create spaces where everyone feels acknowledged and supported. As a community builder, I thrive on collaboration and empowering.

When I’m not working, living life to the fullest and exploring the world around me are my guiding principles. I find joy in glacier hiking, a thrilling road trip or enjoying coffee with friends.

What draws you to Offers and Needs Market (OANM)? What is your motivation for facilitating such events?

What draws me to Offers and Needs Market (OANM) is its commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment among its participants. OANM’s mission aligns perfectly with my own values of inclusivity, growth, and community engagement. I am driven by the opportunity to create spaces where individuals can share their stories, gain new perspectives, and develop or discover skills that enhance their personal and professional lives.

My motivation is simple: I want to help people connect and use their resources wisely.

What is your facilitator super-power or style?

My facilitator super-power is creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. I thrive on getting people involved and encouraging open, meaningful conversations. By fostering an atmosphere of trust and collaboration, I aim to cultivate deep connections among participants, empowering them to share authentically and engage fully in the experience.

What do you hope participants will walk away with after each event? What is your vision?

I hope participants leave each event feeling connected, inspired, and with a stronger sense of local community. I want them to feel more confident, more connected to others, and more motivated to pursue their goals.

Additionally, I aim to foster a sense of belonging and support among participants. My goal is to build a community where individuals feel empowered to make positive changes in their lives and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
