Inside the Connection Regenerator Webinar: Where Sustainability Meets Humanity

Some days, building community and pursuing sustainability feels inspiring and energizing. Other days, it’s overwhelming, complicated, and downright exhausting. If you've ever felt the complexity of wanting to do more but not knowing exactly how, you're definitely not alone. That's exactly why we recently gathered online for the Connection Regenerator webinar—a collaborative project between Mai bine from Romania and Totelly from Iceland, supported by Erasmus+.

This isn't about grand promises or quick fixes. Instead, it's about getting honest, finding real ways to reconnect with nature and each other, and slowly, thoughtfully building something regenerative together.

Anca began the reflection of the transnational seminar where we shared stories, exchanged experiences, and learned from one another. This was a wonderful foundation and planning that set the success of the project and its outcomes.

Tanja introduced us to a new set of educational materials produced by the Totelly team—articles and videos crafted in English and Icelandic (Totelly), and Romanian (Mai bine)—covering practical topics like self-care, regenerative technology, and the nurturing of green spaces. Soon, these resources will also find their home in the Totally Human app, making them accessible anytime, anywhere.

Anca presented the videos and articles produced by Mai bine which brought attention to the importance of moving from an ego-centric lifestyle to an eco-centric mindset in the t. They reminded us of the simple but powerful ways to reconnect with nature, embracing vegan diets and learning about regenerative agriculture and re-connecting with other lifeforms.

This intergenerational dialogue was beautifully explored through podcasts recorded in both Iceland and Romania, emphasizing mutual understanding and shared learning between generations.

A highlight of the webinar was the interactive "Offers and Needs Market". This special activity encouraged us all to pause, breathe deeply, and ground ourselves before diving in. Participants enthusiastically shared their skills, resources, and passions—from permaculture insights and mental health support to creative workshops and practical running tips. There was an incredible spirit of generosity and openness, showing the power of simply asking for what we need and offering what we can.

In our Q&A, Tanja and Anca reflected on ways to expand our community events to reach more diverse audiences. Strategies were shared, questions were raised, and it became clear that diversity, though challenging, is crucial and achievable. Plans for more podcast episodes, events, and even a potential retreat in Iceland took shape, creating a sense of excitement for what's to come.

As we wrapped up, participants shared heartfelt reflections, expressing gratitude for the connections made and the deep sense of community felt—even from afar. This gathering wasn’t just another online meeting—it was proof that when we pause, share openly, and genuinely connect, meaningful change begins to take root.

So next time you're feeling stuck or isolated in your journey towards sustainability and regeneration, remember: small steps, genuine connections, and honest conversations are powerful.
